I don't know if they should be banned, as that should never be the goal of a board, but they should be warned and possibly suspended on any future posts of the same manner.

I have a similar gripe with certain members who like to jump into any thread where a DVD costs more than 10 dollars just saying to get it from CH. Maybe by starting a new DVD Club related Forum both of these problems could be solved (but most likely not...this will lead to more "wrong forum" posts in the bargains forum for people looking for CH info, and locked and moved threads).

prbobably cauese they are relatively new & don't want to read through a 9 page thread to see if their question was asked.

WE NEED A DVD CLUB FORUM

this would help a lot of this!!

Even worse is if you direct them to the thread after they start one and they argue about it.

Believe me, I tried that, but there's just so much info to sift through. It's a great thread if I just want to read up on CH, but when looking for specific information, it can be overwhelming. Thanks for the help! Off to join up again...
This one takes the cake it's titled "Where do i put the code on the Columbia House website? " http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...threadid=97355 Seriously! Thats the topic!

This one - http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...threadid=97431 never even got closed and they completely ignored the post directing them to the right place.

We need a seperate CH forum. I think the single thread is not very user friendly, and it can be intimidating for some people to post in it for fear of being jumped all over.

Not saying those people should be posting, or shouldn't be reading the monster thread like everyone else, just that it would definitely make it easier to read and scan all the data.

Maybe we could just ignore the posts/questions that aren't put in the right place.... and the stupid ones asking where to put the code, etc. If it's been answered, ignore it or point them in the right direction. I have a suspicion that sometimes, the people who post them are trolls in disguise and/or are people who have been banned before.... they do it just to piss people off here.

Yes, we need to ban them. Then we need to beat them. Then we need to make them watch Facts of Life marathons on TV. Then we need to put them before a firing squad. These people deserve to DIE

How many simultaneous club memberships can you have? Do you need a different address for each one?

Is Armaggedon still available for an initial selection?

I would look in the CH thread, but it's just too long...

Damn DTSC! I haven't seen this show since it left prime time, and now I've got the stupid theme song stuck in my head! You should get banned for that!

What kind of answer is that? Answer the damn question! And here's two more:

How many simultaneous club memberships can you have?

Do you need a different address for each one?

I think it's so funny when renaldow talks about other people padding.

See this thread Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

It seems renaldow and BadAsh were so interested in getting the thread to six pages that they sacrificed the content. Talk about padding.

Here are some quotes from that thread:

No, this isn't just another pad message, it really was meant as a sincere thanks. Really...
