I was reading the Scientology thread in the Other forum and it got me thinking about how often religions have been ridiculed on TV.
My personal favourite is still The Movementarians from the Simpsons, who insisted all members must sleep in dormatories and pick beans, while the 'Perfect Leader' drove around in a Rolls Royce.
Strangely, Nancy Cartwright (voice of Bart) is a member of the Church of $cientology!!! Yet the producers had no qualms about doing such an obvious satire about it.
Trey Parker refuses to do a similar story on South Park because Isaac Hayes is a member, and he doesn't want to offend him. Trey's a genuine p*ssy!
BTW, The 'Vorlons' name on Babylon 5 are a direct reference to $cientologyn philosophy I think. Can anyone confirm this?

I can't decide between Jack Van Impe or Benny Hinn. Both produce uncontrollable squeals of laughter when they pop up on the ol' boob tube whilst surfing the nether-channels.
