I remember when I was kid in the 80's there was this big fad of light gun sort of toys that you would use to play games with on the TV. The one I had was Captain Power. It was this light gun shaped like a ship. You were supposed to shoot at the enemies weak spots(which were dark orange) while trying to avoid the enemy fire (which was light orange). I remember it was funny, if you ran out of life, your guy would jump out of the cockpit. I remember it came with a tape but there was briefly a TV series. It was neat.
I know there were other games like this, I just can't remeber what they were???

Not a lightgun game, but I believe there was a Clue TV game where you had to pause the tape while you did something with boardgame-style objects (a gameboard? cards? dice?). My memory is very fuzzy on this one.
