Can anybody tell me how the Laserlight DVD compares to the Criterion? I've been wanting to get the Criterion for a few weeks now and nobody has it.. I'm not really interested in any 'extras', just how the video/sound compares.. Thanks
The Criterion isn't out of print is it?

While the Delta/Laserlight edition is very good (especially for the price), it can't even begin to compare with the improved video on the Criterion edition.
If you are truly interested in the best presentation of the film, get the Criterion. If you just want to watch the movie once or twice, get the laserlight.
And, no, the Criterion is not out-of-print. And isn't likely to be, ever. This film is in the public domain, so there won't be any "rights issues" that would cause Criterion to stop making 'em.
