Farscape Rocks [Spoilers?]

I agree!
And I wonder why it doesn't get much discussion when people are talking about current SciFi series. Among the current crop of shows, you can't beat it for its mix of single eps and long-term story arcs.
Next week is the Season 3 Premiere on SciFi Channel.
Question: Do you think they're really killing off Aeryn Sun in the first episode? They've done her death (and brought her back) before -- and there are hints that it may be REAL this time. Man, I'm gonna be pissed if they do!

I loved the 1st season, but when the second season started I just couldn't really get into it much, which is sad cause it is a very good sci-fi show.
I don't know if I'll watch the season premiere since I missed about 3/4ths of season 2, unless Sci-Fi does a chain reaction I may just give up on watching because I'm too far out of the loop.
Missing out on eps kills you because basically alot of there stories are strung out from day one, which is great, but you miss a few, its hard to get back in.

thejammy: Could you please use the spoiler tag when discussing the deaths of characters on TV shows? I'm a big Farscape fan but I haven't yet watched past season 1.

tor --
a) it wasn't thejammy, it was me above who was talking about this, and
b) I was asking a question about last season's cliffhanger. Posing a question for discussion. No one has seen the premiere yet, so no one knows what's going to happen... Does idle speculation about what MIGHT happen need spoiler tags now, too?
Sheesh. The spoiler police have gone overboard lately, and taken over the whole damn forum.
Why, for instance, do we have a whole thread devoted to the events on Survivor -- with almost ALL the thread dialog blacked out as spoilers? If you can't take the knowledge, don't enter the damn thread! Seems like a stupid way to HAVE to discuss the current happenings on any TV show.

pud -- Farscape seasons 1 & 2 had 22 eps each.
And no two people are going to agree about how it compares to B5, but personally, I like it better.

I like it alot better than B5. It is much faster paced show than B5 was. It left too much to the philosophical side. Too much drama and drama.
Farscape offers tons of action.

I've been blasted to pieces over the last few days for not using the spoiler tags when discussing a subplot in a recent film. Just burns my butt - I tell you . . .
Oh, and BTW, I wish Sci-Fi would do a chain reaction for season 2. I've only seen sporadic episodes this past season and I'm totally lost.
In fact, I didn't even see the season finale.

Well you did say "They've done her death (and brought her back) before". Now when I get to this point in the series I guess I won't have anything to worry about; I'll already know she's going to be just fine.
The title of this thread is "Farscape Rocks". It made no mention of spoilers in the subject so when I come in to voice my opinion of this cool show I should be able to assume it's safe to read.

tor_greg, your point about the title is well made.
Not all series of Farscape have screened where I live and I was not warned in the thread title that future plot details might be given away - I appreciate that the originator couldn't have known what might have been added but it is for this reason that the much requested spoiler tag was made available, methinks! If the title doesn't indicate spoilers then contributors can show consideration by using it, surely?
I thought I'd find a general discussion. I opened the thread because I agreed with the sentiment and was going to point out that I thought things improved as the show progressed and wondered if anyone else thought that the dusty "blonde" character was at all like the (Darryl Hannah?) replicant in Blade Runner!?
Perhaps a moderator can change the title and let adamblast know how the Forum is supposed to work....
