Last weeks episode was a disappointment. Here's tonight's capsule:
Boston Public, Chapter Fifteen - (60 min.)
A tertiary but telling storyline reveals a chink in the armor of Vice Principal Scott Guber, solidly portrayed with a steely resolve throughout the season by Anthony Heald.
It seems that on the strength of his recent stint as guest conductor for the Boston Pops, Guber has been invited to interview for a permanent position with the Northampton Symphony. Stunned and elated, Guber makes the trip to meet with the orchestra board. Surprises ensue. In other developments, renewed violence rewrites the pact between Senate and a former gangbanger; and a rush to judgment stresses out a cheerleading coach accused of molesting a student.
Cast: Anthony Heald, Jessalyn Gilsig, Fyvush Finkel, Nicky Katt, Chi McBride, Joey Slotnick, Sharon Leal, Loretta Devine, Rashida Jones, Wesley Jonathan, Alexondra Lee, Teal Redmann, Bianca Kajlich
Rating: TV-14
Content: Suggestive Dialog, Strong, Coarse Language
Category: Drama
Release Year: 2001

This show was always bad, but it's getting worse. Every episode is the same, and most of the big plot-twists that take place always have to do with somebody revealing some big secret right when somebody walks into the room and overhears them. How clever.....er wait, no, how cheap. Throw in absolutely unbelievable and ridiculous stories for a high-school and the writers using every stupid high-school cliche in the book, and you have one dumbass show that will appeal to anybody who loves to swallow down this kind of stupid drama crap.
This show doesn't deserve another season. But too bad it will, like most other terrible Fox shows.

Of course you do. It's because of people like you that shows like this exist. It's a bad show with bad writing, bad plots and bad repetitiveness, with its appeal only coming from its outrageous plots that everybody wishes happened in their high school. If this show took place in an office building and kept the bad script-writing that Boston Public has, it wouldn't last one season.

Because you're new ... I'll clue you in...

I agree. People "like me" do indeed enjoy these shows.
