I just ordered this from Columbia House without ever seeing it, but I have heard good things. Could someone tell me how the movie and DVD are? Thanks.

The movie is great! It's mostly a courtroom drama, with some "detective" work by Richard Gere's law-team, on the side. It also has a great ending.
The DVD's video and audio are good, but there aren't any extras.

I liked the movie the first time I saw it, but I don't think it holds up well to multiple viewings. That being said, the acting and story are both very strong. I've never seen the DVD, so I don't know what the quality is like.

Fairly solid, if somewhat standard-issue legal psychodrama. Edward Norton's performance is what really makes the film. There's kind of a Keyser Soze twist to it, so I think that is way some people feel it's not good for more than one viewing.
