Alright, so it's not related to DVD, but, I have been in the process for looking for a digital camera/or a digital camcorder which has the capabilities of being a digital camera. Does anyone have any suggestions, or things I should specifically be looking for?
I've been looking at UBID to get a good deal on one. I have the sony vaio 450 with the ilink technology, so I'm looking for a device with that cabability. I also want it to use memory sticks for the digital camera aspect. That way I can upgrade to more memory, or have extra memory. I'm looking to go to Hawaii in April, and right now we have a crappy 35mm non zoom camera. I'm slowly learning the different capabilities of the cameras, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure some of you know a lot more on camcorders than I do.
Thanks for any suggestions on best brands/features to be looking for.
Ben

do not get a digital camcorder for the purpose of taking still pics, it doesn't work like you think it does or very well.
Decide what you want, camcorder or digicam (still shots only) or both. I have both and
I use the digicam 95% of the time.
How much do you want to spend?
