Chip for PSX2??

im sure if theres not there will be soon, but i was wondering is there at the moment a chip for the psx2 which would allow you to play burnt games, and/or make a multi region dvd player?

there is something on modchip.com, but it looks kinda flaky if you ask me. looking myself so I can play my import dvd's

Nothing available now. It might be a long time if ever before you see one.
If you want a console that plays import games you should get the X Box when it comes out in the fall. It will not have any territorial lockout, unlike the other consoles on the market.
