Movie scenes that make the viewer feel the same as the character

Ok, kind of a clumsy title but I’m looking for movie scenes where the director purposely makes the audience feel the same emotions the character(s) on screen are feeling.

For example:

Insomnia (2002) - There’s a scene with a sleep deprived Al Pacino driving in the rain. The way Christopher Nolan films the rhythm of the windshield wipers, it begins to lull the viewer to sleep.

Memento - Another Nolan film that is edited in a way to keep the audience in a strange feeling of forgetting, and trying to remember, what had just happened prior in the movie. The same as the main character.

Boogie Nights - The “Sister Christian” scene where the main characters are high, confused, and extremely anxious. The way the odd little guy in the background is lighting and tossing firecrackers makes the audience feel just as anxious.

The Descent - There’s a scene where a characters is crawling through a super tight cave and the way the camera spins around the narrow opening gives the viewer an extremely claustrophobic feeling.

Can anyone think of any other examples where the filmmakers purposely film a scene to put the audience through the same feeling as the characters?

Also:
The scene in Hereditary right after
Spoiler:
Charlie's death
when we feel how completely numb and stunned Peter is.

I've always felt that the bickering and general annoyance in The Blair Witch Project gives me that clammy feeling of camping. You know, haven't showered in days, gotten a full night's sleep, wearing the same clothes, etc.

I think Cast Away does an amazing job at making you feel the isolation of being stranded on an island like that.

I will go with this and also the previously mentioned arm cutting scene in 127 hours. There is a loud distorting guitar every time he cuts through the nerves and you feel that right down to your spine

Try watching "Leaving Las Vegas" with a hangover.

We've all been in situations where we ask ourselves "What the hell am I doing here?" and this scene really speaks to that anxiety.

That mixture of the gun being waved around while the kid is lighting-off firecrackers just gave an unbearable sense that something really bad was going to happen to characters the audience cared about.
