DYING LIGHT: Bad Blood
The name Dying Light is looking increasingly inappropriate in these latest sun-soaked scenes from Dying Light: Bad Blood. The trailer has been launched in celebration of the game's Early Access release on Steam. The rest of us will just have to wait.

Dying Light: Bad Blood has no release date but is expected to be a free-to-play title on PC and consoles once the Steam Early Access phase has done its job.

One thing that players have been requesting in Dying Light is a mode that allows them to play against other players. Taking inspiration from the many Battle Royale modes that have sprung up over the last few months, developer Techland has revealed a standalone expansion for the survival horror title: "Bad Blood".
"Bad Blood" blends PvP and PvE styles of gameplay. Up to six players are dropped into an area infested with zombies. You need to evacuate before nightfall, but you have no weapons and you need to find the supplies required to pay for your seat in the helicopter. You'll need to get a blood sample from the zombies, including the larger bosses, to get on that helicopter. The more samples that are collected by all players, the more seats are available in the helicopter, but you still need to pay for your seat individually. This will mean you'll have to co-operate with other players to take the zombies down, but will they then stab you in the back (or vice versa) for those precious samples?

Re: DYING LIGHT: Bad Blood
We're still playing on & off and have two friends in the first area. But this mode...don't think we'll touch it. We've play The Division and this sounds like the DMZ....where you deal with both AI and other players with same issue; you get what you came for, try and get out via a "Copter" only to have campers nearby lying in wait to take your stuff and then they leave. With six being dropped in where all need to get the supplies, you can count on one or two will say screw it, I'm staying close by and just kill off the player and take their stash not wanting to help or doing anything.
