The trailer debuted for this today and it looks great. It was a pilot that The CW passed on and Netflix picked it up for a thirteen episode season. Season one debuts 8/10/18

The series follows Patty (Jessie‘s Debby Ryan), a bullied teen who’s out to exact revenge on her tormentors following a life-changing transformation. Dissatisfied civil lawyer-turned-beauty pageant coach Bob Armstrong (The Walking Dead‘s Dallas Roberts) takes Patty under his wing — first as a legal client, then as a pageant contestant — unaware just how far she’s willing to go to hurt those who have wronged her.

The Insatiable cast also includes Alyssa Milano (Charmed) as Bob’s wife Coralee and Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs) as Bob’s pageant-dad nemesis Barnum.

Alyssa is getting shit on Twitter for this movie. Apparently some are objecting to this movie and that the message is unless you become conventionally attractive you cannot get revenge on those who wronged you or some shit like that. So any fat or ugly people have to take whatever happens to them with no recourse.

People need to calm the fuck down and stop looking to be offended at every perceived slight. There are actual real issues affecting real people that need people to get offended on their behalf so maybe something gets done.

I binged this over the weekend and look forward to season 2. I love the casting for this series and while it is not high art the episodes move along at a rapid pace (hence why I found it so easy to watch one episode after the other).

If the first or second eps do not grab you than I can appreciate someone's desire to just move on to watching something else.

I enjoyed the first three episodes and I’m getting bored with the fourth one. Those characters are exhausting.

I thought it was going to be a high school comedy, but it’s definitely not that.

Might stick with it. Not sure yet.
