Wow, when I saw the thread title, I was expecting this to be some kind of adaptation of the Chapelle Show skit, but this looks like the strongest movie Spike Lee's done in years (not counting his documentary work).

Looks good. Him saying hwhite reminds me of Stewie Griffin though.

A friend of mine saw it a couple of weeks back and said it's one of the best films of the year and it's one of Spike Lee's best films in general. I'll be seeing it this week.

I haven’t liked anything from Spike Lee since 25th Hour and that was 16 years ago!!
This look really good and looks like it could be a return of classic Spike Lee.

Enjoyed the story a lot. Some of the acting was pretty bad... but I'd still recommend it. 3.5/5 I think.

In spite of SL making a few good movies (IMO), I'm not a fan.

Inside Man was great. certainly different and more mainstream. i actually liked Miracle at St. Anna too. this though, looks amazing. and going up on RT. now 98%...
