Didn't really care about seeing Rene back.
I wish Quentin would stop sympathizing with Black Siren. She's already backstabbed everyone, including him, so many times.
So I guess next week begins the trial of Oliver Queen.

I agree Lance's continuing fascination with Black Siren has been run into the ground - she's never shown much remorse or guilt for anything she's ever done. I think they keep trotting it out because Paul Blackthorne is easily the best actor remaining on the show, so it's something to keep up for his character's involvement in the ongoing arc.

I know I'm in the minority, but I'm really liking this season. I like the main villain. I like that he doesn't have some personal connect to Ollie or a motivating grudge against the Green Arrow other than wanting him out of the way so he can do more crimes! I like the team stuff including the split and Ollie having to deal with how to be a leader when he originally never intended to lead a whole team. Reminds me of the great Batman story (this show is basically a Batman show) running through Detective Comics right now.

I think the season has generally been better than average, certainly more entertaining than long stretches of seasons 3 and 4. Getting rid of Speedy/Thea and changing the Felicity/Oliver dynamic back to healthy has been positive. I wish they hadn't killed off Vigilante so early.

TVLine has learned that original cast member Paul Blackthorne, who plays Star City lawman-turned-interim mayor Quentin Lance, will not be returning to the CW drama next season as a series regular.

Would not surprise me if Black Siren finally goes completely over the edge and kills Quentin.

If he's getting killed, I think it's more likely that he'll be killed by whatshisname and that'll be the push Black Siren needs to finally break good and avenge him.

I agree with this line of thinking... She seems to really actually care about him, even though she puts her safety above her loyalties. They've definitely been working their way towards her eventually turning over a new leaf.

It boggles my mind that apparently the writer think the B-Team is in the right and are justified in their actions. The fact that Felicity apologized to Curtis which he smugly accepted without any trace of remorse or accepting responsibility in their own faults is downright embarrassing and just bad writing.
Whatever the writers intent may be, it is not coming off that way on screen.
