Audrey (Mila Kunis) and Morgan (Kate McKinnon), two thirty-year-old best friends in Los Angeles, are thrust unexpectedly into an international conspiracy when Audrey’s ex-boyfriend shows up at their apartment with a team of deadly assassins on his trail. Surprising even themselves, the duo jump into action, on the run throughout Europe from assassins and a suspicious-but-charming British agent, as they hatch a plan to save the world.

Seems like your by-the-numbers action comedy. Might be worth an on-demand rental on a lazy Sunday afternoon one day.

Hey, you're out of touch with actors and movies as much as you are football!

Trailer looks ok, if not somewhat generic. Could be a pleasant surprise, given the cast.

Not to mention all of her cartoon voice over work...she seems well liked by Hollywood considering how much money she has made since That 70's Show ended.

I am a fan and will enjoy seeing this when it hits cable (I usually pass on comedies in the theater even if I like the stars of the film, as I do in this particular case).

I wish they casted somebody else instead of Kunis. I never liked her, she sucks as an actress, and she looks bitchy.

Kate McKinnon is the true talent and hope she gets better material to showcase her talents.

Go with your gut. I went to the sneak preview last week. (Since Movie Pass promoted it, it was the only Friday night movie without the BS peak fee attached to it.) There were some funny moments, but overall it was just meh. Worth a Redbox rental maybe.

Others in the theater seemed to really enjoy it, so maybe I'm wrong. *shrug*

I don't really watch SNL these days, so I'm not all that familiar with Kate McKinnon. At one point in the movie a character says to her "you're a bit much" and that was my feeling, as well. Could've just been the material, though.

Is it true it's actually a better action movie than comedy? I heard the action is pretty great, but falls apart towards the end.

The action's not bad. The comedy is the weaker part, IMHO.

It seems it's very hard to make a consistently funny comedy these days.

Yeah it definitely had more action and violence than I expected. If you like the leads it's worth a watch.

I love Kunis, so will probably check this out at some point as a cheap rental, but not something I'd see in theaters.

My daughter wants to take me to see MISSION IMPOSSIBLE FALLOUT for my birthday this weekend, but I kind of want to see this more and my daughter's a big fan of McKinnon. (I have yet to see McKinnon in anything but YouTube SNL clips. The only thing I've seen Kunis in was BLACK SWAN and I don't remember her character at all.) However, FALLOUT sounds like it would be best seen on the big screen while this one I could catch up with on cable and not really lose anything.
