Peyton List (Ivy) was just cast on a FOX pilot for next season. So who knows what happens with the Ivy character going forward if that show gets picked up.
Also, FOX's Chairman sounds optimistic that Gotham will come back.

But, FOX now has TNF, so it won't be on Thursdays in the Fall or would get pushed back to midseason.

A bit all over the place but overall not a bad episode
hated seeing the Doc getting her hand smashed, but it makes Sofia into a proper threat and may change the Doc into something else
The ivy stuff was ho hum

That may have been one of the most vicious things I've ever seen depicted on network television. Usually they would cut away before the hammer would strike the hand or something. I'm surprised that made it past Fox's standards and practices. They would have never shown that ten years ago.
It appears we are finally get some form of the real Riddler back.

That hammer would have pulverized the bones in her hand, not to mention the soft tissue and nerve damage. That kind of damage doesn't heal. You can't just wrap up the hand and you're good. I don't see how she could avoid amputation.

Short term too, if casting rumors are to be believed. Peyton List has had bad luck with series lasting though, with Flashforward, The Tomorrow People, and Frequency all getting the axe after one season. Casting agents seem to really like her though, so her association with unsuccessful series doesn't seem to prevent her from getting work.
