Not really feelin' the "major motion picture event" vibe. I find these kinds of movies hardly seem to qualify anymore.

Opens this week. Reviews are not good. Currently 19% on RT: https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/life_itself_2018 Damn... even The Guilt Trip has a higher rating (now).

I'm a little surprised. Fogelman's last directorial effort, Danny Collins, was pretty good IMO. Crazy, Stupid, Love was enjoyable for what it was. And I enjoy This Is Us.

Damn, this is getting skewered. Down to 10%. I was going to check it out Thursday, but I think I’ll pass.

Seems like people are bashing it for the same reason people love This is Us.

I'll probably check it out.

I am annoyed that they used the same name as the Ebert documentary.

This made quite a few "Worst of 2018" lists, I've noticed.

This was absolutely ridiculous. I can’t even believe it exists. Just contrived nonsense. And the timeline in this... just... wow...

Sounds like a Hallmark Channel movie...

So this is really really bad as they all say it is?

I contemplated seeing this, but held off due to all the horrible reviews. And now that it's on Amazon it's more accessible. I like This is Us, so this is a major misfire from Fogelman I take it?

I realized this wasn't the first time this guy took an already used title for one of his projects:
