Thanks for starting thread - I was about to since it wasn’t up last night.
Really excited for this too! I will be watching live and Tweeting.
Eric Kriple tweeted out (sorry having Twitter problems on IPad and I don’t know how to embed) that viewers need to:
1) watch live and tweet
2) watch within 3 days
I find the last part interesting since I often see Live + 7 cited in DVR viewing figures.
Regardless, excited and can’t wait. Really hope these are a split 10 eps and that we get a 3rd season. This trio of travelers is really a great group. It’s like Stargate SG-1 meets Quantum Leap.

I wonder how much NBC takes into consideration with streams from NBC.com/NBC app, and on demand.

Excited for this to be back too. We watch this show with our daughter, and she goes to bed at 9 pm, so we will be watching this on Mondays.

My favorite show currently on tv. I will definitely watch live, mostly because I’m too excited!

I've rewatched a few of the S1 episodes to refresh my memory. That whole Rittenhouse thing was pretty confusing.

I thought the episode was really good. The pacing and plot were well executed.
I was really impressed with the battlefield pan out. Some great effects for tv. The show uses them sparingly so they are generally well done.
I’m a bit surprised Lucy killing that guy was such a weight when she already killed Jessie James. Guess she quickly went into non-emotional mode.
Looks as if big plans are afoot with Rittenhause now. I like the very specific agents in time angle. More purposeful than chasing Flynn through history.
Also, loved Rufu’s shoutout to clockblockers while trying to fix the lifeboat.

Great start last night.
The bomb at the beginning was a surprise. Looks like the show still has the same production value as season 1. Some good FX and shots from WWI scenes.
and hardly anywhere close to being "family friendly" as teased months ago. Lucy killed that guy in cold blood.
Guess we'll be seeing Garcia Flynn again next week.

Really enjoyed it. Hope the ratings are better this season, but the pessimist in me is assuming it will get axed again. Fingers crossed I'm wrong!

Saw this off the DVR last night. Very good episode. I know I'm a little slow on this one, but Rittenhouse is trying to change history for its own benefit and Flynn was trying to go back and destroy Rittenhouse before they started?

Great way to reset the story for the second season. They are being far more direct about the Rittenhouse/character motives this time around which hopefully will bring more viewers into the mix. Looking forward to S2 even if it is the final 10 episodes.

They addressed that in the episode...well at least asked the same question. Given they are in a time machine, I’m surprised Rufus didn’t posit their is the equivalent of time based cell phone network.
I mean, the guy is named Rufus. How hard is it to imagine a time traveling phone booth?

A smart phone is a portable computer, there are plenty of useful things you could do with it even without phone/internet. He did have the manifesto stored on it. Portable database, camera, etc, etc.

Sure, but good luck charging it. I guess maybe he could have had a specifically-designed plug for 1918 Europe...

If you were able to bring modern tech back with you, it wouldn't be hard to create a something that recharges personal electronics.

Did they mention how long the guy with the phone had been there? Maybe he went back in time with a supply of charged batteries that would last the duration of his mission? Or maybe he would pop back and forth between the past and present multiple times during his mission?

He must have bought a $20 portable solar charger off Amazon before he left.
He can also turn off most functions to conserve power since there is no wifi or internet to drain it. Unless he's listening to his playlist all the time.
I will say, I'm surprised he didn't have it encrypted to make it difficult to access.

They can't send them back and immediately place them in positions of authority so they are sent back, get entry level positions, and they have risen to be at the position they need to be at the proper place in time to achieve the mission.
