For one season out of the year, the East Coast becomes the Ice Coast.Serving as a rite of passage for young people who want to get away for a winter break, Hunter Mountain is an idyllic ski resort that offers twenty somethings the chance to escape their regular lives, ski and snowboard their brains out and party with other like-minded singles. On Winter Break: Hunter Mountain, we document the lives of 8 young people who move into a share house for the season – and the impact their winter together has on their lives.

I haven't watched this yet, but the ratings were not good. It was the 120th most watched Tuesday cable show. 0.10 in the 18-49 demo 184,000 total viewers. It might be DOA.

MTV needs another show like this like they need...uhh...another show like this. MTV only exists any more because of these shows.
Let me summarize for those who missed the premier: "I'm grown up now and I'm all about doing three things with my life: I drink! I party! I hook up with the ladies! And I get wasted! Yeeeaaawww!!!"

I just noticed that as well. Gotta make room for a few hundred more repeats of Ridiculousness! I looked for cancellation news, but maybe they want it to be like the show never happened. It may be just as shredded as that mountain bro!

I finally got around to watching the first and possibly last episode.... It was originally supposed to be called Shredders when they had member of the cast on Fear Factor compete against cast members of The Challenge. The Challenge cast obviously destroyed them on Fear Factor. I didn't think it was terrible and I would have continued watching it since the females are decent looking and it's pretty mindless entertainment. Floribama Shore, Slednecks, and Buck Wild are much better shows though.

This was better than Floribama Shore but not by much.
Floribama Shore had probably the most annoying people ever on MTV...and that is saying something.
They were tring to get a cast like the one that was on CMT's Party Down South but they cast poorly.
I was going to give this one a few more shots but if it doesn't air again it won't bother me.

I don't get why it's so difficult for them to cast a couple hotties, a couple insane people, a couple alphas and an everyman to be the voice of reason/mouthpiece for the audience. Both Floribama and this felt like low rent Real Worlds; the watchability is totally dependent on casting .. and they're casting extremely uninteresting, unattractive people.

Yeah, the DVR caught it as a two-hour episode March 16 @ 8e/7c. Not sure if it is a replay of ep1 plus ep2 or all new ep2/3.
Then back to a 1 hour episode the following week.

Went back home w @taylarshinn after filming @WinterBreakHM and we both ended up “falling” for each other. She met all of my family and friends and even visited all of my friends at school in Boston. I dropped everything for this girl. BUT... #MTVWinterBreak
