BACK IN TOWN - Black Lightning (Cress Williams) is recruited to rally against The 100 gang. Anissa (Nafessa Williams) investigates the new drug hitting the streets. Meanwhile, familiar faces begin to reappear. Christine Adams, James Remar, Damon Gupton III and Marvin Jones also star. The episode was written by Pat Charles and directed by Michael Schultz (#104). That VP got the hots for BL. They should have had the daughter accidentally kill one of those dudes.

I liked it. It was fun to see him wear the suit more and be BL more since to this point it's been focused more on him as principal.
Still don't give a shit about either daughter's storyline developing her powers and relationship(she's already so underdeveloped the only thing I remembered about her this episode was that she was a lesbian and she is developing powers). Also don't care for the daughters relationship with target practice(I dont remember his name I just called him that because you knew he was screwed from the start).
Honestly Cress and Remar are carrying this show for me to the point that I would say it's second favorite for me behind Legends.
Also not sure why but I felt really bad for that rat.

Decent ep. Remar's character has me worried. They are building up Anissa and I can appreciate that. Anxious to see her really learn her powers.

Yeah, Gambi with hiding Tobias is still alive and then not letting him in on what he saw with Anissa has me wondering what he is up to. You would think letting him know that he is alive would help in case he runs into Tobias. Dont think he is with the 100 or the group that put the 100 in place but think there is more than just him trying to get him to be more active as BL.
I keep waiting for a shot of him on how he appears to others. I thought that selfie bit would be where we see him and how he hides his identity.
