Huge Deal on Papa John's Pizza (XL 10 topping pizzas for $4?) thru 12/31

Hope this might help someone here. With the help of SD--there are a combination of deals at Papa John's. I believe this is good through tomorrow 12/31. All of this maybe a YMMV, but it worked for me a short time ago.

First, here's a Groupon deal which you simply need to "claim". You can get 50% back on your credit card (up to $5?) on an order.

https://www.groupon.com/deals/papa-j...142f90b8d80INT

There's a current promo code: 2018DEAL. This gives you a discount, which isn't supposed to apply to "specials" on the PJ website, but it is.

When logged into the PJ website, enter the code in the promo box. Then choose the BOGO offer in the specials section. Then use the 'create-your-own' or customize pizza option to order. The more toppings you add, the greater your discount will end up being.

I ordered 2 XL pizzas with 10 toppings and got them for $8.20 total after tax!

Then I get my groupon e-mail and it says "+$8.20 - Your cash back will be credited in a few days, including $4.10 extra for using your mastercard for the first time." So I'm not sure if I'm getting a $4 credit or a $12 one with that wording. Maybe I made money on this deal.

I may try to see if this deal works a 2nd time tomorrow when I'm supposed to bring some food to a NYE party.

Looks like they fixed the glitch.

I didn't use Groupon - but the rest worked just fine for an order I placed a couple of minutes ago. After tax it was right at $10 for 2 XL pies with 9 ingredients on 1, 10 on the other. That was oddly the less expensive way. A 10/10 order was $.95 higher.

**EDIT**
And... picked up. It's much better than the last pies we got from them. I almost didn't order as the last ones had rancid smelling/tasting cheese and complaints fell on deaf ears. For $9.90 it was worth taking a chance - and it's been over a year since we last purchased from them.

Never had Papa John's.Tired papa murphy's for the first time this year and the family thinks they are okay and they have good salads to go.

Plus I like the local joints when they have specials.

Just make sure you kneel in front of the store before you pick the pizzas up.

I used this deal/code a 2nd time around 6:30 p.m (on Sunday). The pizzas were a big hit at the NYE gathering I attended. And people were impressed when I told them how little I paid.

I ordered them carryout and when I picked them up, the lady handed them to me and said, "Wow, these are heavy!"
