Solid episode. Good to get Devoes origin and Barry knows out of the way so quick. Now they can do some cat and mouse like Thawne in season 1

Has Barry learned nothing about breaking and entry from Oliver? Who doesn't where a mask? I hate it when they dumb down a character to create the wanted scenario. Other than that I enjoyed the episode. It's the first time Team Flash has discovered the big bad before the last quarter of the season. Glad that they are not dragging it out again.

Yeah solid episode. It's fun to see Barry go up against someone who is way above him and his team as far as intelligence goes.

The backstory of Devoe/The Thinker was pretty interesting.

and yeah it's interesting seeing Barry go against an adversary who's smarter than him.

The full reveal of the Thinker was far better than I thought it would be, but this still should never work. Unless they show the guy has abilities they haven't shown yet, Barry should be able to take him out more easily than most others he has taken out before.

They've been including Marvel references in several different episodes this season. Someone on the writing staff is clearly making a game of it.

I liked the Thinker's origin for the most part, though of course they had to boost his wife's role in it for no reason other than audience involvement.

They did dumb Barry down for the sake of plot convenience, but that is a minor complaint.

Nothing provable. I'm pretty sure that unapproved surveillance and attacking people in back alleys is illegal.

As is conspiracy. But when has it ever mattered if the case against these villains can be proven in a court of law? Normally just stop them and throw them away in a secret prison of some kind. Of course, that only if they are not killed at some point in the process.

They must have a couple dozen people in their Star Labs prison by now. I suspect they're actually taken by Argus after capture, because the cells at Star Labs don't even have toilets. Let's not even consider who is paying for the power, equipment, and property taxes at Star Labs.

Bawhahahaha like Team Speed force is all moral. Oh barry, how dare you break and enter in to a potential super baddy's home. That's against the law! Unlike the crimes against humanity we do here on the daily by throwing metas into cells without a trial simply because they have powers are we see their cause as unjust. No, kidnapping and vigilante justice isn't against the law, why do you ask?


Also, they really didn't have to dumb down Barry to the point that he forgets that he constantly blurs his face to avoid detection.

I assume from the backstory that the thinker's chair merely serves to keep him alive, not enhance his intelligence.

-I can't believe the team doubted Barry's "spidey senses". No really...Barry's intuition should count for something right?
-Why didn't Cisco's vibe catch anything but the mac n cheese eating. Dumbass vibe.
-Iris is Boss Bitch of Team Flash and CW is sticking it in your faces. She reminds me of a Preacher's Wife throwing her power around.
-The actor playing Davoe/The Thinker has a natural creep factor and face that kinda work with this role.

i'm still not sure why they try to keep making Iris a team Barry thing. Sure, it's an improvement over damsel every episode, but it's just not working for her to be on the team.
