Lifeline (YouTube Red) -- S: Zach Gilford -- EP: Dwayne Johnson - Time travel show

What if you could use time travel to save your life? Welcome to “LIFELINE,” the new YouTube Red Original Series about the Lifeline insurance agency, whose specially trained agents jump forward in time to prevent the deaths of their clients. But when a jump goes horribly wrong and lives are lost, one of Lifeline’s top agents makes a secret promise to protect a young girl who is orphaned as a result of the mishap, and finds a way to undo the events of the past.

Anyone heard of this show? It just premiered on YouTube Red (the premium YouTube service) last month.

I'm on a 3 month free trial and started checking this out today. It's an 8 episode season (30 minutes per episode)

I love time travel shows and this has a pretty cool concept.

Dwayne Johnson is EP of the show and he has a cameo in the Pilot.

Zach Gilford from Friday Night Lights is the lead. I've 2 of the 8 so far. All the episodes are available. If you don't have YouTube Red, it's a free 3-month trial right now for everyone.

Youtube Red is included with the Google play music service I think.

I dont pay for that anymore so not positive that's true.

I recently started the three month trial. I'll probably binge watch this over a Saturday sometime in the next month or so.

I should check this out, I pay for Google Play (for many years now, grandfathered in when it was $2 cheaper than most other music streaming services). I hope I can access via my tivo/4K blu ray/4K TV, but if the easiest way to watch is on my 12.9" ipad pro I will survive given it is only a 30 minute show.

My YouTube Red subscription expires today, so I rushed through this and finished it last week.

It was alright. Can't say I was blown away by it. They did sort of leave things open for a 2nd season. Nothing was really resolved at the end. I did not like the female lead played by Sydney Park. She was really a bitch and unlikable.

It had decent production value for a relatively low budget web series.

Amanda Crew from Silicon Valley was in this as Gilford's wife, but her character was:

Spoiler:

Killed off midway through the season. Gilford's character spends several episodes debating whether or not he should try to go back and save her, but ends up not doing it.

Another thread here said the majority of this forum would never pay for YouTube, so not expecting anyone to see this unless they find an "Unofficial" stream of the season.

Each episode was about 30 minutes with no commercials, so that did help me breeze through the season pretty fast.
