DC's Legends of Tomorrow (S3E03) -- "Zari" -- 10/24/17

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24

DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW

"Zari" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)

OUTLAWS - When Sara (Caity Lotz) receives a distress call from their "befriended" agent at the Time Bureau, she learns that they have been tasked with going to the future to capture a rogue time traveler. Unfortunately, the Legends make things worse by trying to protect an outlaw named Zari (Tala Ashe), to hopefully lure in the time travelling assassin. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) tries to diagnose Amaya's (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) condition, but Nate (Nick Zano) discovers an unusual treatment that Amaya begrudgingly agrees to. Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell and Franz Drameh also star. Mairzee Almas directed the episode written by James Eagan & Ray Utarnachitt (#303). Original airdate 10/24/2017.

Is it me, or is this show looking really cheap this season?

Overall it was alright. Mick as always stole the show, and Nate getting high was funny. I wasn't a fan of the social commentary, but thankfully unlike Supergirl they didn't feel the need to repeatedly hit you over the head with it in an over the top way,

I'm ok with ISIS joining the team, but her being a part of it makes Amari even more pointless now and I wish she had been written off as her storyline was done. Two characters who use totem's just seems somewhat pointless now.

It's starting to feel like Agent Sharpe is wearing out her welcome IMO.

^^^ Who's Isis? Her name was Zari.

Nate: Shhh, the marshmallows are talking.

Nate being high and then attempting to control Waverider was hilarious. Especially when Gideon said that they didn't move.

This show is getting goofier by the week. But, in a good way.

Zari's superhero name is Isis. LOT has taken an old comic book character and re-done her background to make her a Muslim superhero for this show.

I think the budget has been cut or they have given up using flashy special effects week to week. Firestorm's powers seem off-limits depending on the episode. The characters barely get into costume except for Nate and Ray.

DC's LOT has actually been holding up in the ratings this season. Depending on the week, it outperforms Arrow and handily beats Supergirl.

Firestorm should have been able to take care of water-lady no problem. He can transmute stuff after all.

Only when he remembers, and Stein is kind of dim.

I love anytime they have a prison episode, Mick gets extra interested. I swear this show gets better and better.

"Prison Break? I'm in"
