A group of eccentric assassins are fed up with Gunther, the world's greatest hit-man and decide to kill him but their plan turns into a series of bungled encounters as Gunther seems to always be one step ahead.

Don't know who the mind of Taren Killiam is, but this looks like it could be really amusing - or really dumb. And give us a sequel with that hot chick Sanaa.

He was on SNL for a while. He's also lucky and married to Colbie Smulders.

I literally have not watched SNL in about 15 years, save for skits posted by friends on Facebook. But being Mr. Colbie Smulders is nothing to sneeze at.

So, this isn't a movie about killing the barista from "Friends"?

Reminds me a bit of Series 7 and Operation End Game.

Re: Killing Gunther (2017, W/D: Killam) S: Schwarzenegger, Killam

Saw this earlier today. Currently available via VOD.

I thought Arnold was amusing in this. I liked how he taunted Blake (Killam) and his band of misfits hitmen who were trying to kill him throughout the movie. But, he didn't actually appear until probably a little past the halfway point.

However, it was filmed about 80% Mokumentary style and honestly I'm tired of that format having seen it used on television so much. I don't think it needed to be shot that way and it was annoying here. I don't know who this Taran Killam guy is, but the dude was annoying as hell in this.

Arnold was really the only thing good about this.

I'd give this a C or C-

This popped up on HBO last night. I missed the first few minutes, but it was fun for what it was. Armold clearly had a good time with this. Could have been a bit better with more of a budget/tighter direction but was fun for what it was. All his costume reveals were pretty funny.
