Mysteries of the Missing (Hosted by Terry O'Quinn) Science Channel - 8/26/17

Mysteries of the Missing exposes the theories behind what happened on the fateful day of disappearances and what science can now tell us about what really transpired. The first episode chronicles the mysterious disappearance of Malaysian Airlines Flight 370, and attempts to determine how something so closely monitored could simply vanish.
Not sure how many Science Channel fans there are, but was watching a program today and saw a promo for Mysteries of the Missing, airing August 26th @ 7pm PST/10pm EST (well, 7:04 according to my guide).

I know there are other Terry O'Quinn fans out there so figured I start a thread.

I guess it's his experience on being lost made him a good choice for this show.

Re: Mysteries of the Missing (Hosted by Terry O'Quinn) Science Channel - 8/26/17

Science Channel posted this on their Roku app as a special early premiere. So I went ahead and checked it out today. Only drawback is there being 8 to 9 15-45 second commercials every break.

I thought O'Quinn was a decent host. As for the mystery about the Malaysian Airlines disappearance. Nothing really new that was covered. Some of the theories they went through included a hijacking, the plane running out of gas and crashing, the Lithium battery cargo exploding and even a computer hacking.

I don't think I'll regularly watch this, but if the subject is interesting like this, I may check it out on occasion.

I saw the preview after the Science Channel aired an eclipse special. It looks promising with Terry O'Quinn as host.
