Re: Number 1 movie villain

No. 1 movie villain is obviously Darth Vader. One I wouldn't want to run into is Keyser Sosa.

Re: Number 1 movie villain

The title and OP seem to be asking two different questions. Hans Gruber from Die Hard is my #1 movie villain of all time but he's too sophisticated and suave for me to worry about running across in real life.

Someone like Jigsaw from Saw, Dollarhyde from Manhunter, or John Doe from Se7en are villains I wouldn't want to meet in real life cause they'd nab you and fuck you up!

The number one villain for my generation is Darth Vader.

I don't want to meet any mafioso played by Joe Pesci.

Re: Number 1 movie villain

Lots of good picks. I'll add these:

Max Cady, Cape Fear remake. DeNiro is even scarier than Mitchum. Now that's scary.

Tong Po, Kickboxer - He kicks apart supporting beams of buildings, and licks his glass-encrusted fists!

Nurse Ratched, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest - Cold as ice.

General Zod...'nuff said!

Re: Number 1 movie villain

Hugo Drax from Moonraker. That guy will keep coming up with creative ways to kill you until you are dead as a doornail. Also, the scene where he sics the dogs on that poor girl is one of the most chilling scenes in any Bond film, that it occurs in a Bond that most folks consider to be sillier than most makes the scene all the more frightening.

Re: Number 1 movie villain

I'd go with Darth Vader personally. A bit of an easy choice but so iconic. Of course any of the iconic slasher villains like Jason, Freddy, Michael Myers, etc. are good choices too.
