Was just thinking that summer must be over because there were no movies I wanted to see. This could be good though, and I love Olsen.

I saw this a few months ago at a movie marathon at my local Drafthouse (pretty sure the whole point was to get folks to see this, since it's a NEON film, but y'know... )
Anyway, it was pretty good. Quite a bit of dark humor and reminded me of that episode of Black Mirror with Bryce Dallas Howard a little bit.

Will try to check it out tomorrow. Plaza fan who liked her in The Little Hours. Guess no one else saw that since I was the only one who posted my thoughts in that thread.

I caught a showing of this. It's basically a comedic riff on Single White Female (which even gets mentioned in this movie) starring Plaza as the lonely, unhinged Ingrid, who stalks Instagram celebs in order to fill the dull emptiness of her own life.
After a stint in a mental hospital, she becomes obsessed with Instagram hottie Taylor Sloane (Olsen) and manages to finagle her way into Sloane's more exciting life, until a series of complications threatens to expose Ingrid's bizarre and less than savory shenanigans.
Plaza was quite effective playing a mentally unbalanced character. In fact, she's pretty much batshit crazy for a good chunk of the film and disturbingly believable without going too overboard. She's always had a kind of slightly demented look in her eyes and this movie makes the most of it.
Olsen also does a nice job with a less flashy role, while O'Shea Jackson is amusing as Ingrid's Batman-loving landlord who falls a bit too easily under Ingrid's thumb.
About the 3/4's of the way in, the story runs out of fresh comedic ideas and resorts to some highly implausible dramatic twists and a sardonic but all-too-predictable ending. Still, if you're an Aubrey Plaza fan and in the mood for a very dark comedy, you could do a lot worse.

Yeah, my favorite parts of Legion were Aubrey Plaza being batshit crazy.

Saw it tonight. I liked it and she alternated between a little off, totally cray, and pitiful. Well done.

This was hard to watch for me, bordering on painfully awkward in spots. Plaza does pitiful crazy extremely well.

I wondered if Jackson was going to pursue more acting roles--for those who don't know, he's Ice Cube's son and played his dad in Straight Outta Compton.

God, Ingrid made me feel so uncomfortable all the time. Really well acted by Plaza. Good flick.
