Rings (The Ring 3) blu-ray

First, I apologize if I missed an existing thread in my search.

Second, I know this movie was very poorly received, so no need to post derogatory comments about the movie.

I just thought it worth noting for Ring fans that my copy from Amazon came with a bonus code for UV copies of The Ring and Ring Two. Not sure if this is the case everywhere but there was a sticker on the front advertising it.

If I had wanted to buy both of those movies on Vudu it would cost $19.99, which is what I paid for the Rings blu-ray.

Also worth noting that Ring Two is not on blu-ray except in Japan so it's nice to have it in HD now.

Also, for film purists, the UV copy of Ring Two is of the theatrical cut which is not on DVD or blu-ray. The DVD was only the unrated cut.

Hopefully this is of interest to someone.

Noticed that in a Walmart yesterday and almost bought it just for the first two films. Instawatch, and only $18 there, so I might go back for it.

Target has it for 19.99 and there is a 20% off Cartwheel which will bring it down to 15.99

I haven't seen Rings yet but it can't be worse than Ring 2, that was so bad.

Oh yes, it can.

And is.

You've been warned.

You could probably also use the VUDU disc to digital and get both copies for a couple bucks if you wanted to go that route and not mess with getting the third movie.

With disc to digital with a dvd, don't they only give you the sd copy?

Nope. I used my freebie on Balls of Fury, since it was never released on blu ray. It's the HD version.

Now some movies will only have an SD version available. Like another one I did recently, Batman: Mask of Phantasm. That one was SD only because there is no HD digital copy available.

Almost seems worth getting this Blu-ray with the Cartwheel coupon given that it has the digital copies of the first two films.
