Paul Scheuring, the creator of the series, confirms in this article that this will be it for him and these characters in this 5th season. He says if FOX wants to bring it back for another season in some form, they would have to hire a new writer.

I really hope they give some answers on what the fuck is going on soon.

Linc and C-Note hanging out in the Middle East and fighting terrorists has been fun. But, I also hope they clear up what the hell is going on with Michael.
I'm a little confused with this Kaniel Outsis alias and then that security video that Kellerman showed Sarah.
They only have 7 more episodes, so they definitely can't drag this out like previous seasons.

I'm entertained so far but I also feel like it's been underwhelming. Really hoping Michael's motivations are revealed in the next episode.

Great episode. I like that the Prison escape plan is already underway and not starting from the beginning.
Looks like Scofield is pulling the game theory on that terrorist too.
Awesome new season

Yeah. It's the shortened episode 'season' too. Remember going back to watch all of season 1 and it felt like forever to actually make the escape? Lol
