Nice twist with the group in Kansas working on a resistant type of wheat and not on a pest that destroys crops.

I called this (in my own head) last week, but pretty much talked myself out of it.

They're laying on Phillip's crisis of consciousness a little too thick for my taste. Will be interesting to see where it leads and if Claudia has a bigger role this season.

Noticed that Noah Emmerich directed this episode. He did another good job.

I assume by the fact that nobody met up with Oleg that the CIA is backing off the blackmail due to Stan's threat.

Henry is actually a video game-playing genius!

BTW : My wife keeps insisting that this house is different from the one we've seen the Jennings live in previously. She says it looks way bigger. I told her we are seeing more exterior shots but it has to be the same house. Anyone else wonder about that?

I guess I need to retract and modify my post from last week...

Henry is addicted to video games and he's a math savant.

Really good episode this week as it's setting up a Gabriel vs Phillip showdown. The botched operation at the lab, holding back his son, as this leading to distrust between them.

Will there be resentment from Paige that Henry is the brains of the family? She's already feels she'll be alone the rest of her life, and now she's the 2nd smartest in the family.

GREAT episode. So she was banging that guy (and apparently not hating it) for no reason at all. Oh yeah, and they murdered that guy for no reason also.

Really liked the possibility of Stan's new gal pal being a Russian agent, which had already briefly crossed my mind. That'd be awesome if she was.

I thought they did a good job of juxtaposing Phil & Liz's bored, going-to-work reactions during the sex scenes. Phillip is flashing back to childhood scenes, and Elizabeth is just looking around the room while fake moaning.

With 007, it is all part of the job, but he at least seems to enjoy himself.

It was nice to see Elizabeth calling to check in with Phillip from the phone booth: "I miss you." Nice touch.

Henry's math skills might come in handy, but he's so spacey that the Center will never try to get them to recruit him. And Paige is too tender-hearted. If she ever discovers the trail of bodies Mom & Dad have left behind....

While Phillip is stuck banging the dorky chick. Instead of a post-sex cigarette, she wanted to show him Lotus 1-2-3.

The Ringer wrote a loving tribute to Henry Jennings this week :

Loved Oleg's dad doing his own version of 'The Bachelor' at the Dinner Table.

And Gabriel telling Mischa he could not meet his father was heartbreaking to watch.

Yup. She did not enjoy screwing that guy. She looked like she would rather be elsewhere.
