Well that was cray-cray...
Luckily I have all of these mid-season episodes banked on my DVR so I can go back and watch them and try to see what the fuck is going on.

The LMD storyline took a while to get going to the point that I was having them build up on my dvr as well, but I've enjoyed the past 2-3 episodes quite a bit as the storyline kicked into full gear.

Jed Whedon finally stepped up to the director's chair, brought his A game, and did not disappoint. I think that was the best episode of the series so far.

They just had to bring Brett Dalton back
I don't know if I'd say this is the best the show has been but it's definitely the most interesting storyline since the first season.

He's probably a good guy also, if Daisy's "matrix" scenario is based on how she wishes things had been with Ward.
Given this is comic book fiction, where anything goes, Ward could escape the matrix and be a good guy SHIELD agent again in the real world.
Appears Fitz has regrets about joining SHIELD. Thinks he could have been a billionaire tech wiz. Wonder who the girl in the car was?
Seems Coulson and Mack also regret joining SHIELD for the civilian life that may have been.
They didn't show us the Simmons scenario.

Note to self:
In order to maximize efficiency, be sure to remove all "murder is not OK" parameters from LMD primary functions...
What a fucking dumbass.

No matter what have them programmed where they can't do such things even if they twist it into helping, saving etc...

What freaked me out was we were watching robot Mei and Coulson talking like they were Mei and Couslon.
Is this real life?

One possibility. Aida, who's pretty much full blown psycho by now, has a crush on Fitz. She altered the framework, putting Jemma out of the way in the coffin, and is the woman in the car with Fitz because she put herself in the framework.
How integrated is the framework? Do all scenarios overlap? What if there were a conflict between two scenarios where a character has two different roles in two character's regrets? In May's scenario Jemma is dead, in her own scenario she has a different part.

Last few episodes have indeed recovered form that Ghost Rider crap that made up the first half of the season.
Loved the I-Robot scene with the pod full of Daisies. Seemed that it took her too long to just go full Quake on them, but at least when she did it was a great pay off.

They made a point of saying that if you died in the framework you'd die in real life. Since Gemma was already dead in the framework, she should be real-life dead once she entered the framework.

We don't know that part of the story yet. Maybe that version includeds her having already died, which would then allow Fitz to never have to consider her as part of his framework reality.

Pushing Radcliffe into the Framework was an obvious solution, but I'm not clear on how slashing his wrists first satisfies a "protect him" directive.

Her going hand to hand with one of the androids was just plain stupid. No reasonable expectation she could win doing that. Black Canary on Arrow did the same dumb thing last episode. Supergirl is a frequent offender too.

My wife briefly brought up that maybe it was because she didn't have her gauntlets. But that stops making sense very quickly given there is no way that the blows that she was dishing out didn't hurt her forearms in the same way at some level.

Anybody else get a sense they were channeling the Matrix a lot when discussing they were discussing the merits of the Framework?
Was radcliffe assuming everybody in the world would enter the Framework and upload their conciousness.. leaving earth to be tended by LMD's ...or waste away?
Also...May secretly wishes she was Hydra?

Maybe Jemma's framework reality involves the NASA astronaut on the alien planet. She could be on the alien planet in the framework. In this reality they never rescued her, so an empty grave.
