Well that Grundy situation was resolved quickly. Thought that would be a season-long plot.

I've aged to the point were Luke Perry and Skeet Ulrich are playing fathers with teenage kids. Remember when they were playing teenagers?

Surprised the Grundy plot didn't last longer. Nice to see the call back to the comic Grundy. I guess they wanted to cut out the love square for a love triangle but I doubt Grundy is gone for too long.

If Jughead and his brother didn't sneak into the drive-in back in the day, maybe it would still be open!

Ok, not really, but the reveal at the end made the episode better than the typical "save the [insert historical building here] plots"

Sad to see sexy Grundy leave. Nice call back though to her character in the comics.

Thought Jughead living in the movie theatre was a nice twist at the end. Holly hell what happened to Skeet Ulrich?

Not sure about Hermione dealing with a biker gang. I love this show but I hope it doesn't go completely off the rails into goofiness. Still not sure why Marisol Nichols looks so different then when I saw her last on 24.

I dig the Betty and Veronica pairing. I almost would be ok with a B&V spinoff. Also had no idea Camilla Mendes was Latina. Based on the early clues I'm guessing that the killer is either Betty's Mom or her sister Polly.

I love Sheryl Blossom. She walks the line perfectly between bitch and likeable bitch so well.

Guilty pleasure show, for us past the CW viewing age target.

I swear I never watched anything WB/CW until Smallville came into my life.

Yeah, I think Grundy will be back later in the season.

Her name is Camilla Mendes. Did you think she was Japanese or something?

Holy hell Skeet Ulrich got old. I didn't even recognize him until the final scene.

Not a fan of the Grundy subplot. Don't really enjoy seeing sexual predators be shown sympathetically.

There is only sympathy if it's an older women and a young boy. Check out the thread in Otter. Dawson's Creek had the same subplot twenty years ago (Lord I'm getting old). At least here the final shot of her ogling the other students on her way out of town shows her true nature. It's rare to see sympathy when the situation is reversed (see 24 Legacy this year)

More like I never really bothered to think about her nationality. I read an interview where she said the producers were real big and making Veronica Latina and so far it's been a pretty non factor in the series.

It's a bizarre double standard where a young boy is seen as some sort of stud while a young girl is being taken advantage of. Fact is, both of them are being exploited and are victims of statutory rape.

Film fans might note that Miss Grundy was wearing the iconic "Lolita" heart-shaped sunglasses from Stanley Kubrick's adaptation of the Nabokov novel in the final scene, which is ironic, since she's the "Humbert Humbert" in this scenario.

Sorry to see hot Grundy go, but interested to see where they take it from here.
