Never saw a thread for the show, so I'm not sure how many people watch this show, but two news items.

Aaron Kaufman, Richie's bearded partner, is leaving the shop. No reason given but Richie seems upset about it.

One of Richie's staffers, Christy, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and had major surgery, which cut the nerve to her vocal chords. But she now has her voice back.

I don't care for the show, but seeing Richie in a commercial made me figure it has a fan base. So, that's the news.

It will be interesting to see how it progresses without Aaron. Again another show that got too big. BIG builds for rich folk us poor common folk just can't relate anymore. They have lost touch of what made them unique in a mash-up of other car building shows.

Wife and I watch this show. It will be interesting to see how this shakes out. Wonder if he left to concentrate on racing (which was spotlighted more than once on the show) or maybe he tired of the spotlight.

Lots of internet speculation on it that is for sure. He does have his own shop as well so may be he wants to focus on it for a change. He could have been tired of the spotlight he seems like one that would be after awhile. Pretty sure none of them expected the show to become the hit it has.

I hope the girl with cancer pulls through. She's too young for that shit.

Just saw an ad, the new season dealing with Aaron leaving starts January 16. Given how they are promoting it, I'm starting to suspect manufactured drama.
