What are the 50 most beautiful shots in the Star Wars franchise?

Film School Rejects gives it a go here:

#3 is the most overrated
#47 is the most underrated

#s 1 and 2 are correctly rated.

Don't have a problem with that list.

Kind of hard to rate individual images but I always liked the image of Luke looking at his hand with the black glove in his duel with Vader and didn't see it on the list.

Luke had a beautiful shot.

Greedo's shot sucked.

Not sure you can credit the original DP on shot #37 since it's the special edition the frame comes from.

Looks like the body doors are down. I'm guessing it'll make more sense in the movie.

Not nearly enough Hoth. They didn't pick one shot of a Hoth ATAT. I could make a list of 50 for just Hoth.

Is there a screenshot of coked-up braless Carrie bouncing around the Death Star?

What's funny is I can remember vividly all those shots from the OT in 4x3 pan 'n scan.

Re: What are the 50 most beautiful shots in the Star Wars franchise?

All the Rogue One shots look like they were from the trailers. Why not wait a little while longer to create this list so they could use the entirety of Rogue One instead of just 3 minutes of footage?

Me too. Though wouldn't it be interesting if they concluded the single greatest shot of the entire series was the very first shot?

Do DPs have anything to do with CGI/FX shots anyway?

I always like the POV shot showing the the walkers approaching during the battle of Hoth. Goosebumps!
