are we supposed to believe he doesnt know what he is doing by the way the show ended? And I always thought archery and martial arts were difficult but it seems anyone can learn in practically no time at all.

No way he's Prometheus. The real Prometheus has to be Dolph Lundgren!

Based on height, I agree, but I don't think he would use the "list" He's not really tied to that. There's no way Detective Lance all of a sudden knows how to use throwing stars and archery.

Could be Tommy, resurrected by Flashpoint or Malcom used Lazarus Pit for him years ago.

Good call. It would be a twist on the Batman situation in Flashpoint. Only thing that does not make sense is him wanting to kill Arrow. Unless he doesn't want him killed and that is why he won't let anyone else do it.

But then what would be up with Lance having an identical cut and one of the weapons suddenly?

He knows about the book and what's in it. Could be blaming The Arrow for death of Oliver's mom.

Has to be someone who didn't know Oliver and Green Arrow are same person. Prometheus didn't know until Church told him.

Pretty sure it was never implied that he didn't already know.

I doubt it is his dad. I was joking. But that would be a damn good twist if it were.

The whole point of the scene when Church tells him is because he didn't know. That's why the reveal was a cliffhanger, To Be Continued Next Week.

Now that Prometheus knows the Queen/Arrow connection he switched to using the book to pick victims to let the Arrow know that he knows he and Queen are the same person.

Unless Prometheus is a new character we haven't seen before, he's:
A: Someone who knows Oliver but didn't know he was The Arrow, and
B: Is familiar with the book and the names in it

Weren't there multiple books out there. I seem to remember Oliver's and Malcolm had copies.

Church told him because he thought it'd spare his life. It was never inferred that he didn't already know though and the way he responded to being told really seemed like he didn't care one way or the other as-if he already knew the indentity of GA. Also just being told the identity of GA would not have given him knowledge of the book or it's contents. He'd have to have already had knowledge of the book, which still likely points to him already knowing who Oliver was.

Yeah pretty much anyone who was on the list had a copy of the book.

Come to think of it, Tommy knew that Oilver was The Arrow right?

I think that's a legit theory, and it occurred to me during the latest episode. He could be back thanks to Flashpoint or Alchemy somehow. It would explain why he's interested in the list from season 1 and why he doesn't want Oliver dead.
I think Lance being Prometheus is just a red herring.

Lance via possession or Damian Dahrk spell leftover from last season - only becomes Prometheus when he drinks?

Misdirection does make more sense ...

Though maybe they are going for a situation where to prove he's not Prometheus he has to fess up to the drinking.

I'd prefer they not bring magic back so soon.

I thought Prometheus was tech based? (Unless they changed it for the show)

Kind of both magic and science. Prometheus was like a villainous version of Batman that had access to alien tech.
