Sequels you so badly want but will never get
Title says it all. What are the sequels you would love to see? I have two:
Master & Commander: Anything, I don't care. I love this movie and would love to see the cast together again, especially Max Pirkis, who stole the movie. Do a reboot, pretend none of the characters died, works for me.
Braveheart: I know what you are thinking but the sequel should cover Robert the Bruce. His story is as fascinating as Wallace's. He got off the fence after the nobles betrayed him and Wallace and finished what William started. It was treated as an afterthought in Braveheart but is in fact a complex and incredible story.
Yours?

A sequel to Fight Club would be interesting. There is a graphic novel sequel to the Fight Club novel.
I would have liked to seen the planned trilogy they had supposedly come up with for Unbreakable. That movie screams the first part of a longer story.

Raiders of the Lost Ark. An actual sequel to that story.
And I liked the idea of a sequel to Forest Gump, but the book Gump & Co. wasn't very good.

I would like to see more of John Carter. I liked the first movie a lot, and I thought they did a great job of building that universe.

Deuce Bigelow 3, I like trash and offensive crude comedies.

I'd like to see a sequel to The Big Lebowski in some ways. I know comedy sequels are often times not as good but I feel like if the Coens were writing and directing and the cast came back it could be good. I know that we're getting the spinoff film with the Jesus character which I'm going to see but not as excited about as I would be for an actual sequel.

I wish they had finished the 'Once Were Warriors' series. They did two of the 3 books. The 2nd movie wasn't that good but I would have liked to have seen a 3rd just to finish it off.

I really wish they had finished the trilogy after Sword of Doom. The first movie is one of my favorite Samurai films, and it ends on a cliffhanger, never to be resolved.

Also as much as I dislike Batman Returns I would have liked to have seen a third Burton Batman film starring Keaton. I don't mind Batman Forever for what it is but I feel like more could have been done with Burton's interpretation.

The abrupt ending of the film is due to the fact that it was originally intended to be the first part in a trilogy of films based on a lengthy Japanese novel.

I would loved to have seen John Carpenter do sequel about Wang Chi and his sidekick Jack Burton having another adventure. Big Trouble in Little Tokyo? Little Italy? Big Trouble in Little China totally could have been a great 80's series.
