I need a small-screen TV that I can connect to other devices (DVD, VCR, etc.). It has to have a headphone jack and it has to be able to stand by itself on a stool that measures 13 inches across. I looked in Best Buy for such a thing and found a 19-inch monitor that had no headphone jack and the things on the bottom that enabled it to stand were too far apart for the stool.

Any suggestions?

You've likely gotten this by now, but headphone support will depend on how you are connecting the TV to the equipment. With the exception of HDMI, the other common inputs don't carry audio.
