I couldn't find a thread about this series, which surprised me. The first season, consisting of the Shakespeare plays Richard II, Henry IV, Part 1, Henry IV, Part 2 and Henry V, aired back in 2013:

I was a fan of them and looking forward to the second season, subtitled The War of the Roses, with the plays Henry VI, Part I, Henry VI, Part II, Henry VI, Part III and Richard III. The three Henry VI plays are being combined into a two-part movie, so 3 episodes total. Season 2 stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Hugh Bonneville, Judi Dench, Michael Gambon, Sally Hawkins, Sophie Okonedo & Tom Sturridge.

I can't find info on the PBS airdate. Season 2 already aired in the UK on BBC, and I just found this Amazon listing for the US Blu-ray and DVD release on June 21, so I imagine it must be soon, but PBS doesn't list anything more specific than "Spring/Summer 2016."

The Hollow Crown: Henry VI, Part II airs tonight on PBS. Featuring Benedict Cumberbatch as Richard III.

I missed that Henry VI, Part I aired last week, but I picked up the Blu-ray this summer, so I've already seen all of season 2.
