I'm looking forward to catching this. This season has been entertaining to me, though losing several players to medical emergencies has been disappointing.

Aubry seems to be the logical choice. I think I want Tai in the final though. Can you imagine the heat he'll take from some of the jury members? I believe there will be some tears shed.
Edit: And the other unanswered question. What will become of Mark?

Post-game chicken dinner at Ponderosa. With Tai only finding out it's Mark until after he's taken a bite.
But seriously ... I'm thinking Tai either adopts him or they send him to some petting zoo or chicken stud farm. I'll be disappointed (and surprised) if Jeff doesn't address it at the reunion. Maybe Mark will even be there. Which will be even more hilarious by the fact that Mark would end up getting more reunion attention than some of this season's players.

Wonder is we will see the usual whining that all the players didn't get equal screen time at the reunion. lol: More than ever before, so many are not even remotely worthy of another minute of our time. That said, expect the evacuees to get more time than the winner and runner up. It's the essentially the story this season.
Like the recent TAR final 3, I don't really have a favorite or player I hate at this point. Looking forward ot the eater for next season more than anything else.

Go Michelle! I don't think she'll win, but I love that she's stepping up and kicking butt in the final challenges.

Well ... if Michele was going to win, I wish the editors didn't make her so invisible for most of the game so I could give a crap at the end. I guess it makes sense. If her strength was being in the middle of alliances and being friends with everyone, that doesn't make for exciting television. I got the sense her winning streak of challenges at the end was what put her over the top with the jury. Though if she didn't win, I got the sense she wouldn't have made the final tribal anyway. I guess there have been a number of worse winners.
That was an interesting twist with the juror vote-off. And unlike all the idols and advantages this season, it had an impact. I wouldn't mind seeing this twist show up again.
Let's not forget the true survivor of this season ... Mark the Chicken! I loved learning that there was also a chicken named Jeff ... but they ate him very early in the game
Aside from that reveal, I didn't get much out of the reunion show (which more often than not is how it goes). At the end of a grueling season of Survivor, of course everyone wants to hear from ... Sia and Drew Carey? Looking at the players seated on the stage, I completely forgot there was even a black guy playing this year
My first impressions aren't good. Good casting can override weak "themes". I fear this season is going to pound viewers repeatedly over the head with stereotypes ... and many contestants will play right into that to get airtime (much like the "Collar" season).

So what about all those rumors of returning players for next season? Just BS or maybe that'll be the season after next?

Ultimately I think Aubry got robbed, but Michele was a better choice than I thought.
As far as the Reunion show goes, they really need to make it longer. If they're going to add in Price is Right promotions and let Sia steal the stage, then at least still make room for time for us to actually hear Jeff interview the contestants, which is WHY we're all watching in the first place.
He didn't even get to ask Cydney anything. Sure he talked to her mom on the break, but c'mon, she was nearly in the final three!
P.S. And is it just me or is Michele another one of those Survivors who looks so much better without all the makeup?? #ThesePeopleAreTryingTooHard

When Jeff said to Cyd's mother, "I hope she'll be back with us," it made me think they'd already asked her to be in an upcoming Survivor. He wouldn't likely say that if they weren't planning to feature her again, IMO.

Thought it was a good final tribal. Aubrey deserved to win. I hope she gets another shot.
It was sad that Tai didn't get a single vote. I'd like to see him play again. I bet they couldn't bring Mark back to the states because of laws involving importing animals (just a guess), but at least he had it good while they were there. That chicken wouldn't have made it very far into the game if it was a Boston Rob season!
I was surprised that they didn't speak to Caleb more about his situation. He was in ICU for 5 or 6 days.
I had also forgotten there was a black guy in this sseason. Then I remembered... he was the one who pooped in the ocean right where they swim AND in front of them. Ugh!!! I would have sent him packing, too.

Was genuinely surprised - I thought for sure Aubry was winning when it got to that final 3. I think Michelle did a good job at the end, won key challenges and was an OK winner - for some reason I never could get behind Aubry. I was also happy Tai didn't get rewarded for being a schmo and seemingly lucking his way to the end with bad strategy.
I did very much like the vote one jury member out twist.

This has to be the most WTF ending ever. Showed Aubrey to be HBIC post merge and Michelle kind of just there with a late challenge run. Did Aubrey rub people the wrong socially? Was the jury pissed off in some way? Did Michelle dominate socially if so why not show her journey.
Not saying I disagree with the end result just that the edit really never got to the root of it so definitely a poor job with the actual editing. Even in past situations when people might have though a Fabio or Natalie W. was underwhelming it was clear as pie why the person(s) they were up against lost their jury votes.

I wonder if the "vote off a juror" thing was brought into the game because the producers thought the eight-person jury was deadlocked at 4-4.
Since Aubry only got two votes, it doesn't look like the removal of the juror affected the outcome.

There was a preliminary list of 30 players that the producers were considering for Season 34 and I don't recall if Cydney was on it, but Debbie, Caleb, and Tai were.

Instead of all the bs they do in the reunion, why don't they ask each jury member for 30 second explanation as to why they voted the way they did. I would love to hear that, especially this season. Obviously, we the viewers have no idea what goes on the entire time, we only know what we see. After watching the season, I would love to know why they picked Michelle over the other two. Kind of make them accountable for their vote.
