Weird episode.
This show also has a weird pattern, where a character does so,etching cliche, is in the cusp of furthering the cliche, only to pull a 180. But wait, another character immediately commences with the same process.
Plus, I seriously question the mental faculty, or agency, of these characters. Mayfair has no problem getting picked up on in a hotel by a plant. Meanwhile, Zapata sees a weird conversation between Mayfair and Reade, and is suddenly convinced of she's a risk and decided to cooperate with the DA.
