Also, the preview for next week includes a smaller background cameo from Breaking Bad.

I was thinking it might have been Gus waiting for Mike at the end too but it probably is a bit early for that character to be introduced. Pretty good episode again overall. Banks always kills it. He's just fantastic and has such a great presence. I wasn't sure what to make of the situation with him and Stacey. Either she's just over paranoid or is trying to play Mike for a better place to live.
Jimmy definitely has balls to have gone through with running his ad without approval first. He's obviously wanting to prove that he can get a job done and doesn't think much of the consequences. His priorities seemingly are sticking it to Chuck and Howard and trying to impress Kim. I'm just curious when something comes back to bite him in the ass and he faces some major repercussions. The opening on the bus good and I also liked seeing the film students back from season one to film the commercial.

Come on, guys. It's waaaay too early for Gus to be factored in. There's still a lot of steps that these characters need to make before we get to that level.
I enjoyed this episode and yeah, the writing is on the wall on how Jimmy blows up this world he has and screws things up with his relationship. Though he is an amazing lawyer when it comes to playing with tricks that are just slightly dirty enough to work, while also not being clean enough to want to go to his boss in getting the approval on.

Odenkirk on the Bus was just great, he plays this perfect. He and Banks are doing great work on this show.
I too was thinking Gus at first and then thought, way too soon, we need to see how Mike breaks bad first. Laying out the needs based daughter in law back story is a must first.
I really enjoy the Kim character, it's gonna kill me when she leaves Jimmy for good.

It looks like Mike's granddaughter is already older than she was when she shows up on Breaking Bad.

During season one I was thinking that Nacho is going to introduce Mike to Gus. Still might play out that way.
I'm not sure what Gus is doing at this point in the timeline, but from Breaking Bad I got the sense that he had been a major drug kingpin for a quite a while, so I doubt we'll see the rise of Gus Fring. Might see him take out a competitor or two and increase his reach, though.

Presumably, BCS is taking place in the early 2000s, which would put it about ten years before BB.
The grandaughter in BCS would be a college-aged adult by the time BB happens, and the girl Mike was with at the playground wouldn't even have been born. Are we sure they're supposed to be the same girl?
It probably shouldn't be too difficult to date these shows just going by the kind of technology they're using like cellphones and computers. Cars, too. That Hummer is probably from about 2002-2004.

Yeah I got the impression that she wanted money/a new house and knew Mike would do anything to protect his granddaughter.

So Mike had to have known that there were no gunshots when she said because he was sitting out there all night, right? So why is he still so willing to get her a new house?

Yeah, that seems like a big continuity error.
