DC's Legends of Tomorrow (S1E06) - "Star City 2046" - 2/25/16
THE TEAM ENCOUNTERS A VERY DIFFERENT OLIVER QUEEN - When a malfunction sends the Waverider crashing into 2046 Star City, our heroes face a startling version of their own future where they never stop Savage (guest star Casper Crump) and never return home. The city is in ruins and overrun by criminals, which thrills Rory (Dominic Purcell). Sara (Caity Lotz) is despondent over the destruction of her home and stunned when she learns what happened to her old friend, Oliver Queen (guest star Stephen Amell). Steve Shill directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Ray Utarnachitt (#106). Original airdate 2/25/16.

That small part of the arrow universe was fifty times better than the past 2 years of arrow
They should reboot arrow and just make it into future arrow.

I'm confused why Sara couldn't understand the concept that "This future is not set... and if we just get you back to the past.. in that, you need to survive this mission, then you can help prevent all this from ever happening."
Instead she's all trying to treat the symptom and not the virus.
Other than that, it was fun to see this future Oliver that had a lot of elements of DKR Green Arrow.

Yeah Sara was being ridiculous. That future is not set in stone. And she thought about staying? She's going to see young Oliver again eventually.
Episode was mostly fun. It was cool seeing future Oliver. He's in pretty damn good shape for a 60 year old in a shitty near post apocalyptic future. I enjoyed Connor Hawke or Diggle Jr.
Only part of the episode that was kind of dumb was Jax having a crush on Kendra and Ray being interested as well. Silly and unneeded romantic subplot.

Well Earth 2 is an actual place they can visit back and forth and is simultaneously existing unlike a possible future. Little different.

I am glad the creators mentioned that they created Legends where we can maybe see some of these characters show up with the team. I would love to see Vixen and Connor join the team for some stories. With Firestorm being put on the back burner, probably due to budget, I would rather see a few new characters take their place. Frustrating that Firestorm is my favorite out of the team but they are relegated to staying behind each mission or one of them being separated.

I was almost thinking they were going to take Connor with them last night.

Seeing Oliver as a broken, old man was very cool. It was very Dark Knight Returns from the comics.
As for Sara's stubbornness, no one has ever accused her of being a genius.

the actor who played Connor said there is talks of him coming back but nothing decided yet. he said the plan is to rotate heroes on and off the show so could have different people being added if the show continues.

Holy paradox Green Batman!!! If that future doesn't exist how can they be there to begin with?

Arrow needs to chop off Oliver's arm asap so he can have a badass superhuman robot arm in his own show. He desperately needs a bit of a superhero upgrade considering all of the metahumans he's hanging out with now.

Sara mentions why during the episode - if she and Ray dies during the mission and never returns, that future would be THE future. As per your quote "you need to survive this mission" - she's just being pragmatic.

This show just keeps getting worse and worse. Filled with groan moments concerning the attempted love triangle and ridiculous emotional breakdowns over time travel events. Only good thing to come out is now Rory is more pissed off than ever and looks like he might start taking it out on some of them.

I'll step in between the bitching and moaning and say it was cool seeing Snart starting his 'change of heart' for his 'friends'.
