I really liked this one, despite the odd relation of the the bad guy and Bond, which I didn't dig. At any rate, I'll pick this up.

Wasn't a fan but I hope Best Buy gets a matching steelbook to fit in with the line they released in anticipation of Spectre.

Not really, Skyfall had a sizable set of extras, including commentary by Mendes, and an hour long making of. The lack of any commentaries here is signaling a possible re-release. Wouldn't be the first time.

Re: SPECTRE -- February 9, 2016

I missed this in theaters so I'll be blind buying this one. I've liked all the Daniels Craig bond films (even QoS) so I'm take a chance that I'll like this one too, despite the reviews.

Making $100 million less then Skyfall domestically probably doesn't help their desire to spend on a lot of extras either.

This disappointed me, but I'll probably still get it when cheap.

Yeah, but one would think if there was some big making-of doc, it was already filmed and assembled before they knew what it would make at the box office. Heck, from what I've heard on them, most commentaries are recorded before it even opens in theaters.

I wonder if overseas releases will get more or they're saving anything of note for store exclusive releases.

Target will have a bonus DVD with over 20 mins of content. Seems pretty light for a bonus, but maybe that's why it's on a DVD and not a Blu Ray. At least you can also get a $5 gift card if you preorder.

I'd be all over this day one if it weren't for that fact that the Bonds are always heavily discounted on Black Friday. There's plenty of discs I need to watch before revisiting this movie.

Yeah, this is a $10 or less buy for me. I wasn't a huge fan of the movie but being a James Bond fan, I will still buy it and watch it once in awhile. I am just in no hurry to revisit it any time soon and can definitely wait until November.

Nice Steelbook but considering I have all the other films in just regular cases I'll probably just go that route.

Don't think I'll be buying this until it's really cheap. It wasn't that great of a Bond flick.

I really like that steelbook too. But I have all the other Craig bonds in regular cases as well. Plus, I'll take video bonus material over packaging almost every time.

Re: SPECTRE -- February 9, 2016

The Target exclusive finally dropped down to $19.99 and includes a $5 gift card. I think that's good enough for me to bite.

Me too. But a DVD with 20 minutes of bonus material vs exclusive Steelbook might be the exception for me.

Same here, mostly because there's no reason to be doing any bonus material in SD and not HD.

Re: SPECTRE -- February 9, 2016

The Spectre steelbook dropped to $19.99 and you get a $5 reward zone cert if you preorder this week.

My Target order already processed, so I guess I'm sticking with that version.

Here is a breakdown of the Target disc:
The bonus DVD will feature the previously released short documentary "The Shadow Of S.P.E.C.T.R.E.", the "Music Video of 'Writing's On The Wall' by Sam Smith" as well as a new exclusive short documentary title titled "From Title Song to Title Sequence", with commentary by Sam Mendes, Daniel Kleinman and Sam Smith.
"The Shadow Of S.P.E.C.T.R.E." - 9:32
"Music Video of 'Writing's On The Wall' by Sam Smith" 4:32
"From Title Song to Title Sequence" 4:54

I'll totally do the Best Buy preorder. But where did you see the $5 RZ promo? I don't see it anywhere in the listing.
