Loved this episode. I knew May would be the one to take down Lash but I thought she would kill him because she thought she had to.

I didn't like Daisy catching the lady with her powers. Just seems like her powers would kill anyone she tried to catch that way.

Thought this was a great episode and the show has had a great run recently. Great reveal there at the end.

I am getting tired of the back-and-forth with Fitz and Simmons though.

She was obviously willing to kill Andrew to stop Lash, so I think the writers were able to have it both ways. When Coulson asked her how she knew it wouldn't kill him, she said she didn't so obviously she was willing to make that tough call for the greater good.

I just wish they hadn't turned him over to the other agency to keep him in stasis. Would have been interesting to see them trying to work with him while in the chamber. I wonder if we'll see some sort of operation to break him and the rest of the inhumans out of holding at some point...

Fitz seeing the recordings from Simmons was kind of nice, I liked their little moment there with the sunset. But I really hope they stop dragging that out so long. Good reveal with the astronaut guy, so as people predicted here I imagine he won't be what he says.

After all the complaints last week about how poor Fitz got "friend-zoned", I couldn't help but laugh at the sunset thing:

Simmons: "Here are a bunch of recordings of me confessing my love to you."
Fitz: "Oh, you were under stress and probably never expected me to hear them."
Simmons: "I'm glad you heard them and I still feel that way. Do you want to ask me something?"
Fitz: "Well I'm certainly not going to ask you for a date even though I'm in love with you!"

It is certainly getting there. But it seems like there is hope as they could be making the astronaut out to be a villain.

Why would they do that? Beyond shock value, it wouldn't have much purpose and would be kind of stupid.

Well being stupid doesn't necessarily disqualify it, but it would make the Will or Fitz decision for Jemma instead of her making a deliberate choice, bypassing a lot of the emotional turmoil that is important for the women (I guess?) that this story line is being written for.

Also, I thought the whole Garner as Lash thing felt very shoehorned in. Like Underwood wanted off the show or something. Both these story lines felt like misfires to me.

Not really. There were many comments about that episode that speculate that he is not he seems, may actually be the one that killed everybody else on the planet, and would have taken out Gemma if necessary.

I at least agree that it's not all adding up. And with the reveal that he could be tied to the long history of sending earthlings to the planet, it's possible that he can't be trusted.
