Do TV Shows that are HD project in 1080i?
because my tv keeps saying 480i SD. could've sworn my last tv said 1080i 16:9. i am perplexed...

The (too many) sub-channels that many stations have aded x.2, x.3, x.4 etc are all SD, only the main x.1 is HD.

yeah, i think it is my tv not displaying correctly. the image looks HD, but says 480i SD. can't figure it out and it is irking me. it is a newer Sony 50" tv if that matters...

Sony. I think I got it. It was a setting in cable box. 1080i again. Yay. Sorry.

Anyways, even though Hawaii 5-0 is a mediocre show, I think it has the best looking HD on my TV. Maybe because it's Hawaii...
