An episode so nice I watched it twice. This show is so far beyond other superhero shows that I want to marry it. Some wacky liberal state must have already made that legal.

Henceforth I will call Earth-2 Wells as the jerk Wells. So much ground to cover from this episode, it was packed with great lines and key points. It will be interesting to see what kind of connection Zoom and jerk Wells have together.

I thought the date was cute between Barry and Patty. I guess it's only a matter of time until she learns he's the Flash. I liked how Barry was late to the date, that's his trademark.

So Jay has a friend from Atlantis? Nice to see Jay in action at the beginning. I'm not sure I like him hooking up with Caitlyn but we'll see how that develops.

A nation waits with bated breath to see Cisco break dance in his Vibe costume.

It looked cool, but it just highlights the problem with the Flash--if he's fast enough to do that then he's fast enough that he doesn't need to do a speed mirage. He should have been able to beat Dr. Light before she had time to even realize that he was there. But you just have to roll with that, I guess, otherwise he'd too easily beat anyone who doesn't have speed powers.

I liked Barry's date with Patty. Damn, she's cute.

I remember some speculation about Caitlin perhaps having latent metahuman powers, due to the accelerator explosion. Wells' metahuman detector didn't ping on her, FWIW.

Do we know how Zoom stole Jay's speed force?

If you stop and think through the Flash's speed powers, nothing makes sense. He could defeat every villain in a second (literally) and be everywhere at once and omnipresent like the Kingdom Come version, even more overpowered than Superman. You have to fudge it a little bit.

He and Patti have great chemistry, their date was genuinely sweet instead of cloying. I hope they get them together and she learns his secret, she'd be a good addition to the team.

Caitlin got over Ronny fast .

I'm glad I'm not the only one that notices that kind of stuff. Always amazing what people will accept in one show, because they like it, yet totally bitch about how a different show should be even cancelled for the same kind of holes because they don't like it.

Maybe its because he looks so much younger even than 26. She looked like a soccer mom and he looks like a college kid. Creepy wasn't the right word. Maybe just visually odd.

Yeah, that bothered me, too. They never actually met the Earth-1 Wells. He died when S.T.A.R. labs was just an idea. Thawne did the actual work. The personality of this Earth-2 Wells could very well be what the Earth-1 Wells actually was. We only got a glimpse of Earth-1 Wells right before he died.

To be fair, they didnt know Wells wasnt Wells until right before they beat him. So for the majority of their lives including the last couple when they were really close to the person pretending to be Wells so I think it is perfectly reasonable to continue to refer to that person as Wells. They really didn't know Thrawne as a separate entity nor face so most people would continue to refer to them as the name they associate with that face.
