Freaks of Nature is an upcoming 2015 American horror comedy film directed by Robbie Pickering, written by Oren Uziel and stars Nicholas Braun, Mackenzie Davis, Josh Fadem, Joan Cusack, Bob Odenkirk, Keegan-Michael Key Ed Westwick, Patton Oswalt, Vanessa Hudgens and Denis Leary. The film is set to be released in a limited release on October 30, 2015, by Columbia Pictures.
In the town of Dillford, humans, vampires and zombies were all living in peace - until the alien apocalypse arrived. Now three teenagers-one human, one vampire, and one zombie-have to team up to figure out how to get rid of the visitors.

Apparently this was originally set up as a directing vehicle for Jonah Hill.
A lot of people in the supporting cast.
Looks like this is getting a limited release this weekend too. I see it is playing at a local AMC.

Anyone catch this?
I thought it was pretty fun, goofy, stupid, just the way I like a movie like this to be.

I checked it out last night. It was just ok. I was surprised at how many well known people were in this movie. Especially someone like Leary who now, outside of Ice Age and his Spider-man pay day, barely appears in a project that he hasn't created.
Vannesa Hudgens looked really good in this.
Of the two low budget horror/comedy films to come out around the same time last year, I'd rank Scouts Guide... higher.

Scouts Guide was definitely a little better but both were fun.
I like that films like this can get known actors because it shows they dont mind being in goofy low budget fun.

I watched this tonight and thought it was decent. I agree that Scouts Guide was better. I thought the idea of this film was great humans, vampires, and zombies all living together peacefully until aliens attack. I think that it could have been written and made much better though.
