Best opening moments of a game?
so i just popped on God of War III for the first time and the opening cinematic, with the epic score and great artistry blew me away and it grand and such an epic way to open a game. i know there are others i'll get to remembering...

Wild Arms - There was a short gameplay before the opening scene.
Can't believe I forgot, especially since I'm playing it - Tomb Raider (the reboot from a couple of years ago).

I think the impact of the opening of Bioshock was pretty diminished because everyone had already played the demo by the time the game had come out. Not their fault, but I was already itching to move past the opening scenes once I got the retail game.

FUCK I love that game so much. I wanted to see a proper sequel to that thing so much. The ending was soooo fucking good. I'm hopeful for Transformers: Devastation but FoC, man. That thing was an EPIC telling of the final days for Cybertron before the two groups became the things we know them as in general.
