I'm not usually an episode thread starter but I didn't see one for tonight's South Park premiere. Season 19 starts tonight with "Stunning and Brave". Here's a teaser.

Some of the past seasons are cheaper than ever on Blu-ray. Paramount seems to have quietly dumped much of their South Park inventory for dirt-cheap prices.

I think I must have missed something because I just didn't get this episode. What was the deal with the pregnant ladies, tacos and refugee kids? What was that suppose to prove? And how did that all get carman off scott free like tom brady?

I think they were taking shots at themselves/SP. You can say and make fun of things in extremely racist ways, for example, if you are also trying to shed light/understanding on the topic (e.g., racism). So, they can have their cake (being un PC) and eat it, too (being able to get away with it and not slammed or called out). Re: Brady, he is a piece of shit cheater, who has even sort of admitted it, but is still loved and called a great QB and 'winner' (and bangs his hot sorta dude-wife).

For every bad photo you find I can find a million good ones. Regardless of how much Trey and Matt don't like Tom Brady it's a cheap shot to go after his wife. I realize that's what they do, but they can do better.

I'm right with you. I guess maybe Cartman didn't have to serve his four days suspension even though he was hospitalized for who knows how long? Maybe it was a metaphor for Tom Brady getting out of his suspension punishment, but his reputation took a beating.

For me this was one of those episodes that just didn't jell. I hope it's just setting up an ongoing story for this season.

Great start to the season. Lots of funny stuff.

The great thing about South Park is that it's a show built on making fun of the absurdness of our society and, lately, our society has been giving Matt and Trey A LOT of material. That's why they've been able to stay so relevant into their 19th season.

Certainly seems that way. Keeping that PC Principal around will bring about a lot of gems this season.
